Willard Nash, Jr.

Funeral services for Willard Iron Nash, Jr., 74 of Baxter, will be Thursday, March 16 at 1 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Nash Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Thursday until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Corey Price will officiate.

Mr. Nash died Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his home.

He was born December 16, 1948 in Cookeville to the late Willard and Ada Ann Bussell Nash. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Lloyd and Floyd Nash.

He was a farmer, logger and was a hard worker, working sunup to sundown. He was a great daddy and pa.

Junior attended Ozion Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Antonette Sajol Nash of Baxter; daughter and son-in-law, April and Jackie Moorehead; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Suzanna Nash all of Baxter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Harry Todd of Tampa, FL, Leva Flatt and Dewey Greenwood of Baxter, Lucy and Mike Evans of Atlanta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Albert "Bill" and Rowena Nash; grandchildren: Miranda Grace Maynard, Raelynn Brooke Nash, Carly Paige Nash, Addison Lane Nash, Aiden Hayes Nash and Curtiss Floyd Miles Nash; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Levi Flatt, Drew Eldridge, Matthew Jackson, Josh Goff, Jesse Goff and Adam Nash.
